I Speak on Social Media in Court

I was pleased to participate in yesterday's symposium on "The Use of Social Media in 21st-Century Litigation," organized by the American Journal of Trial Advocacy at Cumberland School of Law.

I spoke on the use of internet research in jury selection. I also wrote an article for the Journal on that subject, which will be published in the spring.

The symposium was the first organized by the Journal, and it was an outstanding effort. It even got some local news coverage. Congratulations to all of those who made the event possible, and thanks for inivting me to participate -- and getting me away from the big storm up in New York.

Congratulations! Media coverage of a case pre-trial is a great way to test the waters and develop a Jury Pre-Screen list.
